CREDITS: 10.00 Following completion of all other courses, the student participates in an on-the-job training experience as an operator in a data processing installation. Where on-the-job training is unavailable, a practicum (occupational work experience in the technical institution) can replace the internship given appropriate facilities and equipment. During this period, the data processing supervisor evaluates the student performance using appropriate observation techniques and evaluation forms. After the internship/practicum period, a critique of the experience is given.
