The following topics are covered: manufacturing techniques, computer interfacing (opto isolators, triacs, transistors, p.i.a.s, a/ds and d/as, flow charts, programmable logic controllers, pneumatic controls, robotics, operational amplifiers, servo and stepper motors, and mechanical power transmission. The student practices oral communication skills.
