This course will prepare students for the task of finding a career in the computer graphics/computer animation industry. Instruction will be given to develop and design logos, business cards, stationery, portfolios, DVD packaging and a reel breakdown. Non-linear editing and DVD authoring software will be used to produce a finished DVD demo reel. Additional topics to be covered include: writing a resume, bio and grant/artist residency program applications as well as preparing for job interviews and film festivals.
