This writing-intensive course is offered to address two issues in today's field of education: ESL students in mainstream classrooms and students with special needs in inclusion classrooms. The relevant topics will be explored to provide teacher candidates with a theoretical foundation, an understanding of their legal responsibility, and an opportunity to design instruction addressing various needs of diverse students in an inclusive setting.
