Prerequisite: Program Ready Provides the skills required to access, understand, and manage information provided in outboard motor service manuals, parts catalogs, service bulletins, special reference books, and computerized information systems. Instruction is devoted to basic electrical theory, principles of operation for powerheads, gearcases, oiling systems, fuel systems, and ignition systems. Additional coursework examines the principles of operation for carbureted 2-stroke powerheads, oiling systems, fuel systems, and ignition systems.
