Prerequisite: MEN 154 Provides the skills required to access, understand, and manage information provided in outboard motor service manuals, parts catalogs, service bulletins, special reference books, and computerized information systems. This course reviews the principles of operation for carbureted 2-stroke powerheads, oiling systems, fuel systems, and ignition systems. Lab time is devoted to servicing powerheads and the more complex systems found on larger, carbureted outboards.
