Prerequisite: IFC 102 Continues development of AC concepts with emphasis on constructing, verifying, and troubleshooting reactive circuits using RLC theory and oscilloscopes. Topics include: simple RL, RC, and RLC circuits; AC circuit resonance; filter, impedance bridge, and test equipment use; transformer theory, operation, calculations, and applications; non-sinusoidal wave forms; three phase circuit calculations; and AC motor and generator theory.
