Prerequisite: Provisional admission Provides an opportunity to study the wholesaling function and the movement and storage of goods. Emphasis is placed on the transportation, storing, and material handling functions. Topics include: historical and contemporary wholesale distribution, inbound and outbound operations, traffic operation concepts, distribution center safety and security, purchasing, inventory, financial management, and inside and outside selling.
