(formerly POLS-H250-251) 6 cr. Prerequisite: At least 15 credit hours of college work and a 2.6 average, plus a "B" grade in either ENG*H101 or BBG*H210 . Practical experience as astaff assistant to a member or committee of the Connecticut General Assembly or to a municipal government executive or agency is provided. At least 200 hours of practical work plus a biweekly seminar meeting of all student interns of NVCC are required. A 10-15 page term paper report will also be required at the end of the semester.
