Prerequisite: CIS 2150 or CIS 2152 Provides students with knowledge and skills necessary for new-to product support professionals who will be responsible for installing, configuring, managing, and supporting a network infrastructure that uses the Microsoft Windows server family of products. Topics include: automating Internet Protocol (IP); address assignment using DHCP; implementing name resolution using DNS and WINS: configuring and supporting remote access to a network; configuring network security; integrating network services of Windows; deploying Windows Professional; and using remote installation services.
