Prerequisite: CIS 2149 Provides students with knowledge and skills necessary for new-to-product support professionals who will be responsible for installing, configuring, managing, and supporting a network infrastructure that uses the Microsoft Windows server family of products. Topics include: installing Windows 2000 Server; installing, configuring, and troubleshooting hardware devices and drivers; managing, monitoring, and optimizing system performance, reliability, and availability; configuring and troubleshooting Windows 2000 network connections; and implementing, managing, and troubleshooting security.
