Prerequisite: Program admission Provides introduction to different multimedia and examines the necessary tasks in the pre-production stage in the creation of compositional elements used in 3D animation, video, print and web. The creative process is introduced using the elements and principles of art and design. An introductory course of descriptive drawing and various media, students produce scripts and storyboard descriptions, as well as character creation and layout design depending on the chosen field of study. This course teaches skills required to assess current digital media trends and technologies and apply them by using hardware devices, such as a scanner, camcorder, and camera, as well as software applications.
