Prerequisite: None Provides training on vehicle systems to permit care and servicing of various vehicle types. Emphasis is on routine and periodic inspection and maintenance of essential fluids, filters, belts, hoses, tires, and exhaust systems. Topics include: oil and filter types and standards; chassis lubrication; radiator flushing, hose replacement, coolant specifications and replacement; chassis inspection; tire rotation, balancing, and maintenance; batteries, alternators, starters, and wiring; labor estimation guides, service manuals, and repair orders; and use of shop and equipment and maintenance.
