Prerequisite: AMF 152 Provides students with an introduction into computerized process control and the operational requirements associated with automated machines in the manufacturing environment. Topics include: computers in the workplace; DOS and Window environments; computer integrated manufacturing and robotics; inventory control systems (i.e. bar coding); basic mechanics; hand and power tools; industrial controls and electrical safety; hydraulic and pneumatic systems; and manufacturing process troubleshooting.
