Students will gain practical insight in the theory that there are alternative means of deciding and going forward with a case. Indepth discussion includes mediation, arbitration, private counseling, and negotiation. Emphasis will be placed on time considerations, efficiency in handling a case, expertise in alternative resolutions, and cost factors. Prerequisites: LEI 101 and 205.
