Prerequisite: SON 1000C Prerequisite or corequisite: RTE 2762 (Minimum grade of C required if used as prerequisite) ? Corequisite: SON 1804 This course includes a review of abdominal and pelvic organs and their function along with simple pathology of these organs. Also included are ultrasound terminology, basic operation of the computerized ultrasound machine, routine scan planes, and a review of cross-sectional anatomy of abdominal and pelvic organs. This course includes a hands-on lab with activities designed to ensure competence in the basic use of computers and to enhance scanning skills. (Special Fee: $24.00)
