Prerequisite: Minimum grade of C in NUR 1021C Focuses on the human responses to the specific alterations in physiological and psychosocial integrity. Begins clinical application of the decision-making process. Demonstrates the use of a safe, effective environment that promotes and maintains health for specific health alterations that occur in adults. This course includes learning activities that demonstrate increasing competence in oral communication and computer use. Relates professional behaviors and effective communication to specific health care environments. A grade of "satisfactory" in the clinical/lab is required. (Special Fee:$114.50)
