General education, non-lab course designed to introduce students to the study of animal behavior by examining the maintenance behaviors and social behaviors of horses, and by comparing them with behaviors shown by other equids like zebras. Students also will study the ecology and management of wild horses and learn to analyze and interpret data by reading original journal articles.
