0 Credits Undeclared division UCCC - Basic Rider Receive a thorough training & learn to ride with confidence! Sponsored by The Motorcycle Association of New York State, Basic Rider is a motorcycle course for both beginners and intermediate riders that teaches the fundamentals of safe, responsible motorcycle riding. This course consists of 6 hours of classroom training and 10 hours of motorcycle instruction. You will learn straight line riding, turning, shifting, and braking. Motorcycles and helmets are provided. All classes are held at the SUNYUlster Campus in Stone Ridge NY. Courses are held rain or shine. Available New York State Department of Motor Vehicles Benefits: Road Test Waiver (you MUST have a NYS Drivers License and Motorcycle Permit to be eligible for the road test waiver), up to 10% reduction on car and motorcycle insurance, & reduce up to 4 points off your driving record.
