3 Credits Math,Science,ENGR, & TECH Veterinary Technology Sciences Students will study the physiology, clinical presentations and treatments of common metabolic disorders in exotic, companion, and farm animals. Emphasis will be placed on respiratory, urinary, blood, endocrine,and fluid disorders. Hands-on laboratory experiences will emphasize the use of correct laboratory protocols for blood, urine, feces, and other body fluid samples. 2 hrs. lect; 3 hrs. lab. Prerequisites: BIO 100. Corequisites or prerequisites: VTS 151, VTS 152.
