3 Credits Visual Arts, MUS, & THE Theater The purpose is to provide students the structure to engage in an academic and/or practical learning experience associated directly with their individual area of interest, which may fall outside current Theater program offerings (directing, performance, stage management, and design). The parameters of the independent study (topic, hours, and method of evaluation) will be established between the student and the participating instructor of record and will be overseen by the coordinator of the Theater program. The student is required to keep a journal, documenting his or her experience of the course. Prerequisite: This earned opportunity is open to exceptional second-year students, with the approval and advisement of the student's academic advisor and the coordinator of the Theater program.
