3 Credits Business,Professional Studies Networking After successfully completing this course, the student will be able to configure Cisco routers for operation in large or growing multiprotocol internetworks. The course includes laboratory exercises that focus primarily on scalable technologies and the Cisco IOSTM software features that are most useful in building large or growing internetworks. These features include access lists, scalable routing protocols including Routing Information Protocol version 2 (RIPv2), multi-area Open Shortest Path First (OSPF), Enhanced Interior Gateway Routing Protocol (EIGRP), Intermediate System-to-Intermediate System (IS-IS), and Border Gateway Protocol (BGP). Students will also study route optimization, route redistribution, route summarization and advanced IP addressing management. Course fee. Prerequisite: CCNA or equivalent.
