3 Credits Business,Professional Studies Recreation Leadership In this continuation of areas studied in REC 204, students gain professional experience in the field of recreation and leisure services, working as on-site interns in public, private, or commercial recreation settings. Students have the opportunity to participate in direct leadership, program planning and promotion, supervision, staff meetings, and related administrative tasks for a 100-hour internship. Work schedules are arranged by mutual agreement of the on-site supervisor, instructor, and student. Prerequisite: REC 204 or by advisement.
