3 Credits Math,Science,ENGR, & TECH Veterinary Technology Sciences This course will cover the assessment of patient behavior and vital signs, care, recognition of common diseases of exotic animals, feeding and grooming of normal and healthy patients, hospital care for sick animals, administration of medicines and fluids, bandaging, and a wide variety of other nursing procedures. Species studied will include birds, reptiles, rabbits, and rodents. 2 hrs. lect.; clinical training off campus. Prerequisites: VTS 150, VTS 151, VTS 152, VTS 155, MAT 152, and by advisement only.
