			1 Credit Nursing & Public Safety Intermediate Studies This course provides students with new, refresher, continuing education, and general medical updates necessary to administer advanced pediatric emergency care and skills as a certified or licensed medical professional. It incorporates lecture and lab materials contained in the most recent prehospital treatment guidelines and curriculum established by the American Academy of Pediatrics. The secondary goal of this course is to provide certification requirements for the American Academy of Pediatrics: Pediatric Education for Prehospital Professional.
