0 Credits Undeclared division Non Credit Courses This course is a continuation of NCC 278: Beer Appreciation I. A more detailed discussion of the brewing process will be covered. Class will be held right on the brewing floor of Keegan Ales, a working microbrewery in Kingston. After a brief introduction, this class will begin with a tour of the brewery to re-familiarize the student while taking a more detailed look into the materials and process. Beer Appreciation II will also take a deeper look into the history of beer and brewing that lead to the birth of various brewing styles and techniques. Additionally, this course will include a discussion and sampling of more styles, expanding on the knowledge obtained in Beer Appreciation I. PREREQUISITE: You must be 21 or over. NOTE: This course has a materials fee (paid to the instructor at the first class).
