1 Credit Nursing & Public Safety Intermediate Studies This course provides students with the new, refresher, continuing education, and general medical updates necessary to administer pediatric advanced emergency care and skills as certified or licensed medical professionals. It incorporates lecture and lab materials contained in the most recent American Heart Association Cardiac Care curriculum approved by the American Heart Association. The secondary goal is to provide certification requirements for American Heart Association Pediatric Advanced Life Support. Special fee applies. Prerequisites: Current certification as a Paramedic or licensure as an RN, MD, PA, NFP, or RRT.
