3 Credits Math,Science,ENGR, & TECH Mathematics Practical and useful applications of mathematics for students in the health science field are presented in this course. Topics include basic arithmetic, introduction to algebra, metric measurement and conversions, dosage calculations, and basic statistics. This course is open only to students in Nursing or other allied health programs. It may not be used to satisfy a degree requirement in any program having a higher level math requirement. A simple hand-held calculator is required.
