3 Credits Social Sciences,EDU, & HUS Human Services Designed to assist students in the acquisition of specific performance competencies in direct care practice, this course provides on-site field experiences at College-designated agencies. The field experience encompasses a total of 120 hours per semester. Responsibilities include direct work with individuals, groups, families, and agencies, as well as all other activities deemed necessary by the sponsoring agency. At the end of the practicum, students must demonstrate their mastery of fundamental competency areas to the field instructor. Prerequisites: HUS 103 and by advisement.
