0 Credits Undeclared division Health and Safety Institute This course is designed to familiarize you with the DOT hazard communication system and related safety and security issues. It will help you understand the labels, placards, shipping papers, and markings associated with the transportation of hazardous material. You will learn how to read the Hazardous Material Table and the 2004 Emergency Response Guidebook. The course includes labeling exercises, form completions, and self-tests. Students can access the DOT Regulations and the CRR through online links. You must complete the final exam with grade of 75% or more to receive SUNY Ulster certificate. Students will need to make arrangements for taking the online final, as it needs to be proctored; please call 845-687-5012 when ready to take the final.
