0 Credits Undeclared division Health and Safety Institute Using the Internet, students will be introduced to basic laboratory safety and gravimetric, spectrophotometric, electrochemical, titrimetric and microbiological methods. The units include instructions on the procedures for total residue, flouride, pH, ammonia, acidity, alkalinity, calcium, chloride, hardness, and coliform analysis. Along with reading assignments from the required textbook, the course is enhanced with up-to-date photographs, interactive exercises, and online links. Students will need to make arrangements for taking the online final, as it needs to be proctored; please call 845-687-5012 when ready to take the final. Two textbooks are also required.
