0 Credits Undeclared division Health and Safety Institute This self-paced, open-entry, online course explores the rudiments of water treatment. The topics of this online course include regulatory monitoring, iron and manganese removal, filtration, coagulation, flocculation, fluoridation, and disinfection. This course concludes with an optional field trip which is followed by a final exam which must be proctored. One textbook is also required. NYS Dept of Health has approved 45 of the total class hours for re-certification credit (4.5 CEUs).
