0 Credits Undeclared division Health and Safety Institute This self-paced, open-entry, online course is based on the nationally recognized University of California-Sacramento training manual. Students will cover the rudiments of collection systems: a basic overview, safe procedures for operators, inspection and testing, pipeline cleaning and maintenance, underground repair, lift stations, equipment maintenance and sewer rehabilitation. The course is enhanced with up-to-date photographs, interactive exercises, and links. This course is approved by the NY DEC for re-certification credit. This course concludes with a field trip which is followed by a final exam. One textbook is also required.
