4 Credits English,COM,For Lang, & PHI Intermediate Studies This course will empower students to critically read and analyze college textbook and everyday reading requirements. The focus of the course is on higher-level comprehension and vocabulary skills. Students will develop critical reading skills by using college-level reading texts. The course will help the student to apply and practice skills in order to expand background knowledge and vocabulary of the college-level reader. Prerequisite: ISP 070 with a grade of C or higher or by COMPASS reading placement score.
