Topics include conservation of land, ocean, mineral, and energy resources; groundwater problems; air and water pollution; geologic hazards; hazardous waste disposal; and land-use planning. The course emphasizes Earth processes and resources that are important to human activities. This course will include a weekend field trip. 3 hrs. lect.
