3 Credits English,COM,For Lang, & PHI English Comp and Lit Students read and discuss plays, poems, novels, short stories, and/or creative essays on a theme selected by the instructor. The course may be taken twice for credit. The College's repeat course policy as outlined in this Catalog does not apply. Prerequisite: ENG 102 or by advisement. Themes for summer 2008 include: "Introduction to Women Writers," "Banned Books," and "Masculinities in Fiction." Themes for fall 2008 include: "Introduction to African Literature" and "Banned Books."
