1 Credit Learning Center Employment Strategies Students learn to systematically and assertively gather information about employment opportunities and develop appropriate job-search strategies that will lead to full-time employment upon graduation. Topics covered include the following: job seeking techniques and methods, network and contact systems, analysis of help-wanted ads, cover letters and applications, resume writing, references, interviewing skills and techniques, dealing with rejection, and what to do when hired.
