3 Credits Math,Science,ENGR, & TECH Enviro Control/Hazardous Waste Students analyze samples for priority pollutants, using such tools as the atomic absorption spectrophotometer, the gas chromatograph, and the inductively coupled plasma spectrophotometer. On an individual basis, each student develops competence with these instruments and their use in actual industrial sampling and analysis. During the final week, students analyze an actual industrial sample. 1 hr. lect.; 5 hrs. lab. Lab fee. Prerequisites: ENV 201 and ENV 203 or by advisement.
