0 Credits Undeclared division Development Cntr for Business Organized youth sports have become an important part of the fabric of family life for millions of New Yorkers. Unlike NYSED school sponsored athletic programs, youth sports programs rely almost exclusively on volunteer coaches, with most having no or little training. SUNY Ulster, in partnership with the SUNY Youth Sports Institute, offers this non-credit curriculum accompanied by a state-wide certification test for youth coaches in New York State. This program consists of a three hour, on-site classroom session with a web-based curriculum and testing component. Total amount of time to complete this course is roughly six hours.
