0 Credits Undeclared division College for Kids Build and take home your own Rocket Robot. It has a sensor that is touch and sound sensitive. It quickly and automatically reverses and turns to embark on a new course. You control its movement and adjust its sensitivity to sound. You will see first-hand the many gears, circuit board, microphone and how easy it is to assemble the mechanical drive system. You will get to design, build and program other robots that can do some interesting tricks as you learn to use a hand-held microcomputer. There are beginner, intermediate and advanced levels. Work with a wired control Movit robot with arms you can command to grab, release, lower or lift small objects. Be a part of robotic technology! This camp is co-ed for ages 7-12. LUNCH: If you take this camp and CFK 931: Make it and Take it Home Camp, please bring a bag lunch that requires no refrigeration. Supervision will be provided between sessions at no extra fee.
