3 Credits English,COM,For Lang, & PHI Communications Focus is on both the receptive and expressive knowledge and use of Sign English (pidgin sign) in this course, which is a continuation of COM 115. Students continue to increase interpretive skills in preparation for the RID Certification Exam. Development of interactive abilities is taught via a variety of communicative situations. Prerequisite: Completion of COM 115 with a grade of C+ or better or by advisement. Students may repeat COM 116 for credit. The College's repeat course policy as outlined in this Catalog does not apply to COM 116.
