3 Credits English,COM,For Lang, & PHI Communications The objective of this course is to introduce the process and techniques of journalism with a hands-on approach that will focus on the writing and editing of a variety of news stories and short features. While the emphasis will be on application to print media, photojournalism as well as Internet and broadcast journalism will be explored. Members of the class act as the staff of the campus newspaper and are expected to contribute articles to it as part of their course requirements. Prerequisite: ENG 101.
