Explore the meaning, history, and reasoning behind the chess moves and pieces. You will gain the confidence to compete in a mini-tournament by learning how to correctly move the chess pieces around the board. Learning chess can develop patience, aid in better problem solving, and develop better planning skills. Chess requires foresight - seeing how each and every move influences the outcome - which you will learn to develop. Expect surprises during your training!!! Do not be left behind, come on this adventure of a lifetime! Certificates of achievement will be awarded. This camp is co-ed for ages 8-10.
