2 Credits Undeclared division Development Cntr for Business Join this course to learn the fundamentals of accounting principles that can be used by bookkeepers and also by those wanting to get into an entry-level position in a small business. The main accounting principles, such as debits, credits and the use of financial statements will be presented in the first four or five sessions and then applied to computerized accounting. Demonstrations of how accounting is used in software programs such as QuickBooks and spreadsheets in Excel will also be included. PREREQUISITE: Basic Math Skills
