3 Credits Visual Arts, MUS, & THE Art This course is an expansion of graphic design skills and procedures learned in ART 124 Introduction to Computer Art with an emphasis on the fundamentals of production. Students will learn document construction, page layout, typography, and color for solving design problems in a design production environment that covers practical/real-world projects. The course covers editorial layout, posters, brochures etc., and will introduce students to a design studio environment with an emphasis on presentation and the client/designer relationship. 1 hr. lect.; 3 hrs. lab Prerequisite: ART 124, computer skills, or by advisement.
