This course provides an introduction to the structure, function, role and effects of the mass media in the sport industry. It includes a study of principles and fundamentals of sport information and media relations. Students learn to develop and produce promotional, informational, and news-oriented material. Prerequisites: SPMT 150, and prior completion or concurrent enrollment in ENGL 101. 3 Cr. (3 Lec.) Fall semester.
