This course is designed for non-native speakers of English who have acquired a limited proficiency in English or who are false beginners. The course will help students develop basic English language skills in listening, speaking, reading and writing with primary emphasis on gaining fluency in conversational English. Substantial outside preparation and lab work are required. This course is only offered when special intensive language programs are offered at TC3 or at our partner institutions abroad. Prerequisite: Appropriate assessment test score or completion of ESOL 080 with a C or better grade. 4 Equiv. Cr. (4 Lec.) Occasionally.
