A continuation of ESOL 103A designed for non-native speakers of English who have excellent conversational skills in English, but who need to improve their academic English before entering a full program of study at a college or university. Students in the course will develop their skills in listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills using college level materials. Particular emphasis is placed on being able to complete academic writing assignments. Substantial outside preparation and lab work are required. Students will need to pass a writing test at the end of this course in order to continue in the ESOL program at TC3. Prerequisite: Completion of ESOL 103A with a C or better grade. 4 Cr. (4 Lec.) Fall and spring semesters.
