This course is designed for non-native speakers of English who have some proficiency in conversational English. Students in this course gain proficiency in conversational listening, speaking, reading and writing, with particular emphasis on speaking fluently and correctly. In addition, students are introduced to limited and adapted academic English. Substantial outside preparation and lab work are required. This course is only offered when special intensive English language programs are offered at TC3 or at our partner institutions abroad. Prerequisite: Appropriate assessment test score or completion of ESOL 090B with a C or better grade. 4 Equiv. Cr. (4 Lec.) Occasionally.
