Do you have a phobia about math Or are your Math skills holding you back at work Do you wish you had a better understanding of fractions and decimals so you could take on new responsibilities Are you thinking of a college course, but need a refresher to start Or do you just wish you were comfortable with your math skills so you could more confidently tackle numbers when you need to do so Enroll in one or all three parts of this relaxed, no tests, no grades workshop led by Richard Conlon, a math instructor with over 15 years experience teaching basic math and reading for college and high school students. Part I Topics will include basic addition, subtraction, multiplication, division, calculator use, problem solving, powers, square roots, decimals, and fractions. Part II Topics will include ration and proportions; percent problems; interest and commission; probability; mean, mode, range; graphs and charts; and measurement. Part III Basic algebra, including the language of algebra, expressions and equations, multi-step problems, and factoring Basic geometry, including measurement of figures (perimeter, area and volume) angles, Pythagorean theorem, triangles, and trigonometric rations
